Room Forty was founded in 2004 by Steve Fortunato with the vision of building a community around food and wine. Having worked in the industry for 19 years, most recently with Joachim Splichal’s Patina Group, Fortunato has formed a collective of chefs, hosts, winemakers, food lovers, wine lovers and festive souls who celebrate the power that a meal has in bringing people together. Believing that an organization must have a hospitable culture to effectively deliver a hospitable experience, Room Forty’s staff is an organization of chefs and hosts who are passionate about excellence, passionate about the details of a meal, and most importantly passionate about hospitality. We are best described as hospitalitarians.
