SEPTEMBER Saturday, September 13 (Downtown Los Angeles) Barrel 27 - McPrice Myers - Herman Story Wines Room Forty is proud to announce our inaugural collaboration with Silverlake Wines, as we bring our dinners to downtown Los Angeles. Russell From returns with partner McPrice Myers, and will be serving the "family of wines," with offerings from Myers’ private label (McPrice Myers), Russell's private label (Herman Story) and of course their joint venture, Barrel 27.  Tickets are $150 per person for six-course food and wine pairing. Purchase by 9/8/08. OCTOBER Saturday, October 18 (Downtown Los Angeles) Consilience Wines Under-ground for the Upper-crust (Downtown LA): Room Forty is proud to host Brett Escalera, owner and winemaker of one of the Central Coast’s favorite wineries, Consilience Wines, for this month’s six-course winemaker dinner downtown LA. Escalera will be on hand to share his highly allocated, well known and loved offerings with Los Angelinos. Adding culture and color to the evening will be some of Los Angeles’ finest contemporary artwork, with curator, Pharmaka Gallery. Guests will also be given the opportunity to purchase the evening’s displayed artwork. The evening will be set in a beautiful, historical downtown location and is guaranteed to be a memory. Tickets are $150 per person for six-course food and wine pairing. Purchase by 10/13/08. Friday, October 24 (Pasadena) Core Wines Returning to our roots, Room Forty welcomes back Dave Corey, winemaker and owner of Core Wines. One of Robert Parker’s favorite (and ours!) limited case production wineries, Core Wines is quickly becoming a cult wine with a loyal base. As both vineyard owner and winemaker, Corey brings a uniquely comprehensive presentation of the journey from vine to bottle. As one of the first winemakers to partner with Room Forty, we are so excited to host another memorable evening with Dave Corey and Core Wines. Tickets are $150 per person for six-course food and wine pairing. Purchase by 10/20/08. Saturday, October 25 (Malibu) Core Wines On Saturday we set our tables on a 10-acre private estate in Malibu. Waterfalls and Vineyards make the Estate the quintessential setting for a memorable winemaker dinner. Dave Corey will be spend the second of two nights, taking us on a central coast journey from vine to bottle, in a setting to remember. Tickets are $150 per person for six-course food and wine pairing. Purchase by 10/20/08. NOVEMBER Saturday, November 1 (Orange County) Villa Creek Wines Room Forty sets the table southward, in our premier Orange County event. Owner and founder of Villa Creek Wines, Cris Cherry will be on hand to share his well-known and highly acclaimed central coast offerings, featuring his distinguished Spanish varietals. Cherry brings his sage experience, delivered in his bohemian, festive style. Tickets are $150 per person for six-course food and wine pairing. Purchase by 10/27/08.
